Billy has been the Preaching Minister in Columbus since 2001.  Billy is married to his childhood sweetheart, Lisa and they have four children: Caleb, Logan, Matthew and Ally.  Billy and Lisa have strong roots in Mississippi, having grown up in Vicksburg and have lived in North Alabama and the New Orleans, LA area prior to returning to Mississippi.  He graduated from Magnolia Bible College and is pursuing graduate studies at Mississippi State University in the area of family counseling.  Billy believes that the church as the body of Christ is the hope of the world.  He loves to preach and teach about God’s call for us to ‘be the church’ and believes that the world will know that we are disciples of Christ by our love for each other.  Billy loves the outdoors and anything remotely resembling pecan pie.

Paul Bennett has been working as a full time youth minister since 1997. He has been the youth minister here at the Columbus Church of Christ since 2002. His wife Sara is active in the ministry as well. They have been married since 1998. Their two children Jaden and Maddie love the children’s ministry. He is from Nashville Tennessee and attended David Lipscomb University. He strongly believes that Christ established the family and the church as the primary tools for spiritual growth. He feels that teenagers grow through active participation within the body of believers and seeks for them to develop and implement their specific talents for ministry to others. He understands that relationships with adults are crucial to a lasting faith and feels that working within the church family prepares them for the church home they will be a part of after graduating. His favorite verse is Ephesians 6:19. He doesn’t like cats or mayonnaise.

Vicki has attended the Columbus Church of Christ since moving to Columbus in 1999 and has served as secretary since April, 2004.  She is married to Donald and they have four children. 

Vicki believes that this job has given her the opportunity to be more involved with the members and the ministry work done here.  She enjoys reading, shopping and being with her family and friends.
